RANDOM RAMBLINGS OF THE FICTIONAL SORT 006
Everything was all set. Her face was fresh from a wash having just finished patting dry the last bit of the dampness off her skin. Her canvas was blank and ready.
She took a brush in hand and looked over her palette. Some pigments were well used while others were barely touched. She took a moment to consider using a different set colors other than the browns and beiges she had learned to rely on. She bit her lower lip in her indecision and tested some of the stronger colors on her wrist.
Taking her eyes off the hues for a moment, she glanced at the clock. Quarter past eight. Her eyes widen in alarm. Quickly, she puts down her make up and takes up a comb instead. With her hair soon in a neat ponytail, she grabs her bag and is off. Today was not the day to try something new. Maybe some other time.
