This book was definitely something I wouldn’t pick out for myself but it ended up to be a nice sort of bittersweet kind of read. @easelandthelion had just finished reading it when I got intrigued. After hearing bits of the story from her I decided to have a go at the book. It was refreshing in its simple writing yet complex story. There may be some who may find the pacing slow but I found it wonderful. Written in a first person point of view, It allowed one to be engrossed with how the characters think and somehow invites you to reflect on modern life.
